HFI Consultants is a Forestry and Land Use Consulting Firm serving the Pacific Northwest. We serve landowners seeking to evaluate and manage their forests and agricultural lands. Our cliental includes timber companies, small private tree farms, trusts, estates, conservation groups, financial institutions, land appraisers and power companies.

The principles of HFI are brothers David and Timothy Halme, with over 60 years of combined experience in forest and facilities management. David Halme has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Forest Management from the University of Washington and has served the State of Washington as a Forest Manager of the U of W Pack Experimental Forest, Director of Facilities at Clark College in Vancouver Washington and as interim Vice President of Administrative Services at Clark College. Timothy Halme has earned an Associate of Science degree in Forest Technology from Green River Community College and has served the Forest Industry for over 30 years as an Industrial Forester in the Pacific Northwest, primarily with Plum Creek Timber Company and Olympic Resource Management.

Travis Anderberg joined HFI Consultants in 2011. A graduate from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science degree in Forest Resources, Travis has spent the majority of his career as a consulting forester but has a range of experience in the forest industry working for large timber companies and log scaling bureaus.

Darlene Homola joined HFI since our inception in 2006. Darlene manages our office including all accounting services. Darlene has extensive experience in accounting, taxes, payroll services, and business management.
